Local Leaders Band Together to Support the Boy Scouts of America

Matt Hyatt Several community and business leaders have joined together to support the Northeast Georgia Council Friends of Scouting program for the Boy Scouts of America. The group helps to raise money to support more than 26,000 Scouts and 6,000 adult volunteers.
The Council also helps to maintain campgrounds for the Boy Scouts at Camp Rainey Mountain, Camp Rotary and Scoutland. To help volunteer or to make a pledge to the campaign, contact Matt Hyatt at 770-441-2520.
The Boy Scouts of America helps young men develop character, citizenship and personal fitness.
